Learn the Bagpipes
As a beginner, you will start playing on a practice chanter (similar to a recorder).
You will explore the great highland bagpipe and how it works, and will be fully tutored in reading bagpipe music and mastering the finger movements.
Learn the Snare drum
the Snare drum is the 'rat-a-tat' type drum in pipe bands, using hard sticks.
You will begin on a practice pad, and will learn drumming techniques.
Learn the Tenor drum
Flourishing tenor drummers use beaters on the end of long sticks, which are then tied to the fingers.
The beaters are flourished in coordinated movements, while striking the drum; to add "spectacle".
The tenor section also includes the large Bass Drum.
